Kitende started the Group A games on fire with five consecutive wins but a 2-1 loss to St. Henry’s Kitovu left them in an uncomfortable position.

St. Marys Boarding Secondary School Kitende will face Nakaseke International on Monday's ongoing National Secondary Schools Football Championship in Fort Portal in a must-win fixture.

Kitende started the Group A games on fire with five consecutive wins but a 2-1 loss to St. Henry’s Kitovu left them in an uncomfortable position.

Kitende must beat Nakaseke International on Monday afternoon to control their chances of progressing from the group stages.

Any other result coupled with a win for Latifa Mixed over Jinja Comprehensive could spell doom.

In Group G, Busoga Regional champions Jinja Progressive will need to avoid defeat against West Nile school Panyadoli SS to go through.

JiPRA leads the pool with 13 points, Nkoma follows with 11, while Panyadoli has 10.

The two sides will meet at 11 AM as Nkoma play bottom-placed Wisdom High School.
