Busoga Province advanced to the group stages of the FUFA Drum after overcoming Karamoja in the first-round playoffs.
Joel Madondo and Isaac Wagoina were on target as Busoga Province routed Karamoja 7-2 0n aggregate to progress to the group stage of this year’s FUFA Drum.
The two sides are among the eight that were not ranked among the best eight and forced to go through the first round.
Busoga took the lead from the first leg by winning 4-1 at the Kyabazinga Stadium a week ago ahead of the trip.
Madondo struck early in the 12th minute before Wagoina grabbed a brace for himself with a goal in either half to seal their place.
Busoga will progress into Group C that has West Nile and Bugisu.
