Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has laid down the law for outcast Jadon Sancho to come back from exile
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has indicated the door is still open for Jadon Sancho to save his career at the club if he wants to.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Ten Hag left the door open for Sancho to return to the squad, putting all of the responsibility on the player who has been frozen out of the team for the last three months.
Jadon Sancho has reportedly missed a number of training sessions since being exiled from Manchester United's first team but the manager is still open to having him back.
Ten Hag open to welcoming Sancho back
"It is about a culture and every player has to match certain standards and it was about that," the Manchester United manager said ahead of Saturday's Premier League game against Bournemouth.
"What will happen there, he knows what he has to do, if he wants to return it is up to him. He knows what he has to do, it is up to him," Ten Hag said.
The Dutch coach recently won the Premier League Manager of the Month award as well as Harry Maguire winning Player of the Month and Alejandro Garnacho's overhead kick clinching the Goal of the Month in what was a hat-trick for the club.
