To attract a capacity crowd, Masandawana, through their social media handles, have announced free entry to all the fans who will be wearing Sundowns jerseys or any regalia for the club on Saturday.
Mamelodi Sundowns might have managed to leave Casablanca with a goalless draw against Wydad in the CAF Champions League first leg, but the electric atmosphere, as always, shook them up.
To attract a capacity crowd, Masandawana, through their social media handles, have announced free entry to all the fans who will be wearing Sundowns jerseys or any regalia for the club on Saturday.
“The #TotalEnergiesCAFCL showdown is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to see you at the stadium!” Sundowns tweeted.
“Come wearing your yellow t-shirts or any Sundowns regalia on Saturday to get your free ticket and entry to this clash; let’s paint the stadium yellow and show our support.”
Sundowns shirt sponsors Puma have also offered to brand all replicas free of charge at their store to encourage more fans to attend the game.
“The day has finally arrived! Purchase or bring your Masandawana replica to PUMA Menlyn on Saturday and get it branded,” PUMA tweeted.
“You don’t want to miss this one, #Sundowns; we RISE AGAIN!!”
Head coach Rhulani Mokwena already expressed his appreciation to the fans, adding that he expects nothing less than a capacity crowd with drums and cheers.
“I expect nothing less than hearing the drum, to hear Masandawana chanting, and to see a full stadium that will give us extra energy,” Mwokwena noted.

CAF CL Mamelodi Sundowns must figure out a way and use their winning mentality against Wydad
With the tie evenly poised (goalless), head coach Rhulani Mokwena knows precisely what his charges will require to defeat Wydad and advance to the final, encouraging his side to bring on the winning mentality on the day.
Masandawana is hoping to reach their first CAF Champions League final since 2016 when they won it; they also want revenge against Wydad, who eliminated them in the quarter-finals in 2017.
