Kitara FC continues to make waves as they prepare for their return to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League expecially with the nature of their transfer business.
The latest addition to the roster is playmaker, Kabon Living, who joins the Royals on a one year contract following the end of his two-year stay at URA FC.
Kabon's enthusiasm about his new team is substantial. Speaking to the club's media following his move, he expressed his excitement about joining Kitara FC, saying, “It's not a rumor anymore.”
“I am now a Royal and looking forward to beginning work straight away with the team," he added as his move was confirmed following an extended period of speculation.
For Kabon, the move to Kitara feels almost like returning home, as he explained, "Hoima is my second home because I’ve been here severally.”
“I feel really excited and hope I can add value to my team in the coming season."
“When you look at the squad, there are players I’ve played with and against plus some young and determined ones.”
“I played with Nyakoojo, Senkaaba while I have faced Mucureezi, Zaga, Aheebwa among others. It’s a good thing you know,” he stated.
Having played for teams like URA, Onduparaka, and Paidha Black Angels, Kabon brings rich league experience, something that will undoubtedly benefit Kitara FC.
Under the guidance of coach Brian Ssenyondo, Kitara FC looks to be on a mission, with Kabon being their fourteenth signing.
The club's strategy has been aggressive in the ongoing transfer window, roping in formidable talents like Samson Kasozi, Ibrahim Magandaazi, Okello Donato, Yiga Frank, and many others.
The club has also signed Chrispus Kusiima, Frank Zaga Tumwesigye, Denis Omedi, Jude Ssemugabi, Benjamin Nyakoojo among others.
