Brazil and Real Madrid legend Roberto Carlos has revealed his pick for the 2024 Ballon d'Or.
Roberto Carlos believes Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior deserves to win the 2024 Ballon d'Or.
According to the Brazil World Cup winner, the media and fans tried to destroy Vinicius during his early days at Real Madrid, but the winger has continued to prove his doubters wrong.

Roberto Carlos picks Vinicius Junior for Ballon d'Or
Speaking at a recent media event, Carlos spoke about the Ballon d'Or via TheMadridZone.
“They tried to destroy Vini when he was young and that made him stronger,” the former defender said of Vinicius.
“There are other great players, but we needed a player like Vini, it will be natural for him to win the Ballon d’Or.”
Vinicius contributed 24 goals and 9 assists last season as Real Madrid lifted the UEFA Champions League and La Liga trophies, and is currently among the favourites to win the award, alongside teammate Jude Bellingham, and Manchester City midfielder Rodri.
It's worth noting that the current Ballon d'Or holder is Lionel Messi, who has won the award a record-breaking eight times and it will be interesting to see if Vinicius can indeed follow in his footsteps.
