Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has acknowledged that Victor Osimhen’s absence against Malmo was a serious setback for the team.
Osimhen was ruled out of Thursday's UEFA Europa League clash against Malmo due to an injury he sustained at the weekend.
Following his absence, Galatasaray could only salvage a 2-2 draw in their clash against Malmo in Sweden.
The result dropped the Turkish champions to sixth position on the UEL table, but they are still in the race for automatic qualification.

Buruk speaks on Osimhen’s injury
Galatasaray are topping the Super Lig table with 38 points, six more than bitter rivals Fenerbahce, and are well placed to advance to the round of sixteen of the Europa League.
Galatasaray boss Buruk has complained about not having his key strikers for the clash against Malmo on Thursday.
According to Fotbollskanalen, he said, "We have few wingers and two important strikers missing.
"We have other strong players and a strong starting lineup. We have a few wingers and two important strikers gone. But I know that the other players will do everything they can for the team."
Osimhen’s injury is a concern for Galatasaray after losing Marco Icardi for the rest of the season due to an ACL injury.
The Super Eagles player has scored three goals in four Europa League games and 10 goals overall for Galatasaray.
However, as it stands, it is not sure that he will feature in this weekend's clash against Trabzonspor.
