Former AFC Leopards coach Pieter De Jongh has criticized football administrators in Malawi over the poor running of the top-flight league.
The criticisms come after the Dutchman, the current coach of Malawi Super League side Silver Strikers watched a local match between Mighty Wanderers and Tigers in which he slammed the referee for poor officiating.

Speaking to the press on Thursday, De Jongh says he will only be silenced once the southern African football levels improve.
"I will not shut my mouth; I won't be quiet until football changes in Malawi. If it is unfair, why should I watch the wrong things?
"I am a good person who doesn't speak with emotions or being angry, only that people don't understand me.
"There was a fight between Technical panels when Wanderers played against Tigers and no red card was flashed there while I, just asking for additional time, I got booked."

A conflict between the clubs also saw their respective fans engage over which team is bigger.
