Explosive details from the investigations into the allegations of discrimination levied against Christophe Galtier have come to light.

Damning details from the investigation into racism allegations levied on former Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier have hit the public sphere.

As Pulse Sports reported, the 57-year-old was accused of discriminatory practices during his tenure as manager of OGC Nice and was subsequently taken into police custody for questioning.

Galtier, currently the manager of Al-Duhail, was the manager of Les Aiglons for the 2021/22 season before landing the biggest job on the land in the summer of 2022. His one-year spell with Nice is now subjected to a police inquest after several individuals stepped forward to accuse him of discrimination.

Revealed details from the ongoing investigation

The manager is set to stand trial in less than two weeks. French journalist Julien Laurens shared some details of the investigations reported by L’Equipe following interviews with players and staff members at Nice.

The following were revealed:

It was reported that Galtier stated, “I don’t want any more blacks or Arabs in our team.” He was also alleged to have called two black players “King Kong.”

Galtier is also alleged to have discriminated against Muslims and kicked against the signing of players of the faith: “Another Muslim player, I don’t want him. We have enough of them," and he added, “The worst are the Algerians.”

He is also said to have attempted to dissuade his Muslim players from fasting, and it was suggested that he tried to get the Muslim players on the team sold.

Galtier, according to the report, is denying these allegations, claiming that they are borne out of a “Vendetta” against him.
