Troy Deeney made it rain on Victoria Secret models who joined him in parting in Las Vegas

Former Watford striker Troy Deeney has made headlines once again, this time for reminiscing about a wild three-day celebration in Las Vegas, during which he reportedly blew a staggering £250,000 of his Premier League promotion bonus.

Deeney, who was a pivotal figure in Watford’s ascent to the Premier League in 2015, recounted the extravagant escapade during an appearance on the popular "Undr the Cosh" podcast.

He revealed that the massive spending spree was a promise to his friends after the club secured promotion as Championship runners-up.

"I did a quarter of a mill in three and a half days," Deeney stated, adding, "I would love to tell you it was on gambling, but we did £80,000 at a pool party, £80,000 at MGM in the morning, and £60,000 in the evening."

Reflecting on his mindset at the time, he admitted, "In my head I wasn’t getting this money anyway because I made the deal with my pals."

Deeney's lavish celebration included encounters with fellow party-goers, including a group of footballers on a stag do nearby.

Fuelled by competitive ego, Deeney recounted, "They think they can f***ing mug me off, I've just got to the Prem... I’ll have 20."

His exuberance marked a moment of reckless fun, albeit with a hint of regret as he noted, "I could do with that quarter of a mil now."

One of the most entertaining anecdotes from his trip involved being surrounded by what he described as "15 Victoria's Secret models."

He humorously recalled a conversation where one of the models questioned his fame. "She’s like, 'Are you famous?' and I’m like, 'Nah, nah, I’m not famous, I just don’t like pictures,'" Deeney shared.

The model’s response led him to an epiphany: "Thank you Jesus, I am in heaven now."

Despite the lavish spending and unforgettable experiences, Deeney acknowledged the consequences of his partying lifestyle, admitting, "I drank so much I got carted off in a taxi."

Since leaving Watford in 2021, Deeney's journey has taken him to Birmingham City and then to Forest Green Rovers, where he served as player-manager.

He has since transitioned into a role as a pundit, sharing his insights and experiences from his time on the pitch.
