Former Nigerian football star Finidi George expressed his readiness to take on the role of head coach for the Super Eagles.
Finidi George led the Super Eagles In their friendly game against Ghana and Mali a few weeks after he was appointed the Interim coach of the team.
The Eyinmba head coach won his first game against Ghana, defeating the black stars 2-1 and losing his second game 2-0 to Mali.

Finidi on Super Eagles position
Finidi George is looking forward to continuing leading the Super Eagles in an interview as reported by Sports Boom.
"I'm not new to the team, so it wouldn't take me so long to adapt and try to do new things. I've been with the team for almost two years. I know all the players, their strengths, their weaknesses.
"I'm here to serve Nigeria," Finidi George emphasised, highlighting his deep commitment to the national team.
"I've been called upon to do that, and I will do it to my best capacity, the way I know how to do stuff."
Despite the significance of the opportunity, Finidi George made it clear that he is not under pressure to secure the position permanently.
"I will just take these 2 games and go back to my club," he mentioned. "Whatever decision is taken after, so be it. I'm not under pressure to say 'It must be me.'"
The football icon's words reflect a blend of confidence, humility, and a strong sense of duty towards Nigerian football.
