FKF presidential candidate Hussein Mohammed and his running mate McDonald Mariga have unveiled a pioneering partnership in their campaign to secure the federation's top seat.

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) presidential aspirant Hussein Mohammed and running mate McDonald Mariga have launched a groundbreaking partnership in their bid to clinch the federation's top seat.

In an address earlier today to the Media at a Nairobi hotel, the FKF presidential aspirant announced the partnership with global  sports development company Venue Era Group with WHB Group, Engo, Ava Stav, and Colosseo under its umbrella in an aim to develop key international Sports Infrastructure.

The companies boast an impressive portfolio of sports infrastructure projects globally.

Among their notable achievements are the King Abdullah Sports City in Saudi Arabia, the Puskas Arena in Budapest, the Accor Arena in Paris, and the Capital One Arena in Washington.

Speaking  at the Mohammed assured to upgrade sporting  infrastructure at  both national level and grassroots level if presidential bid is successful.

"We are committed to building a future where our young athletes have access to the best facilities right here in Kenya," expressed Mohammed.

"Our collaboration with international partners like Colosseo and InterSports will bring the expertise needed to elevate Kenyan  football and ensure our athletes are well equipped to compete on a global stage," he added

The event featured leading figures such as Jan Jenca, CEO of Venue Era Group of Companies, Georgio Chanturia, Venue Era’s coordinator, and Loseb Akhalkatsi, General Director of InterSports.

CEO of Venue Era, highlighted the group's commitment to introducing world-class technology and infrastructure to Kenya.

“We see tremendous potential in Kenya’s young athletes, and with the right facilities in place, we believe they can thrive on the global stage,” he stated

Mohammed’s initiative marks a significant step in his presidential campaign, as he seeks to bolster his position in a fiercely contested elections.

Ex-Gor Mahia player Sammy ‘Kempes’ Owino, Tom Alila, the former FKF NEC member for Nyanza, Kakamega Homeboyz boss Cleophas Shimanyula, Gor Mahia secretary general Sam Ochola, ex-FKF boss Sam Nyamweya with incumbent Nick Mwendwa as running mate of Doris Petra are among those poised to be at the ballot.
