Santo acknowledged that the win against Amrim's Manchester United is a significant moment the team will always cherish.

He hammered on their commitment to improving on mistakes and highlighted the talent they have to build on.

"Huge moment for all of us in the club. So many years, now it's time to celebrate. The first action of the game we score, makes a big difference," Nuno told Forest TV.

"The growing process of the team today was evident, the way we controlled the tempo of the game.

"We have to be better, this is what we are achieving. Every day we should improve because the talent is there. We still make mistakes that we should not have done."

Forest is fifth with 25 points, just two points behind defending champions Manchester City in the Premier League table.

Their next challenge will be against Aston Villa, who are also on 25 points and occupy sixth place.
