Uganda Cranes interim head coach Morley Byekwaso gave him his first call and included him in the final team that is set to tussle it out with Mali and Zambia in the forthcoming international friendlies.
Despite boasting enviable topflight experience that spells to over six years, URA FC defender Hudu Mulikyi received his maiden national senior team summon less than a week back.
Uganda Cranes interim head coach Morley Byekwaso gave him his first call and included him in the final team that is set to tussle it out with Mali and Zambia in the forthcoming international friendlies.
"Earning my maiden call up to the national team is really something big in my life," Mulikyi told URA FC media.
Mulikyi has been a Tax Collector since 2016, when he joined from Maroons FC, and has established himself as one of the best in the business in the league in his position.

He has also been named MLS Next Pro Player of the Month twice, been named in the MLS Next Pro Team of the Season and received his first-ever Uganda Cranes summons.
Having received the call, Mulikyi will now be keen on making his debut and stamping his mark for future appearances.
"I hope and pray I get a chance to play so that I can show my ability at such a level."
