The former Kiandege Jets standout has been in sensational form under head coach Peter Okidi and assistant Bernard Mwalala, transforming his season after a slow start.
Michira's turnaround was on full display during Shabana's 2-1 triumph over AFC Leopards, where he netted both goals to seal victory at Gusii Stadium. Days later, he struck again to secure a crucial 1-1 draw against Posta Rangers.

"I didn’t start the season well, and I take responsibility for that. But I must acknowledge the role of the coaches in helping me regain confidence and form," Michira told Mozzart Sport.
"Their faith in me, consistent game time, and dedication to my development on and off the pitch have made a huge difference."
The 2021 National Super League (NSL) Young Player of the Year emphasised the strides he has made in his game since the arrival of the new technical bench.
"I’m a better player now. Decision-making was a challenge for me, but thanks to the new technical bench, I’ve made great strides," he said.

Mutimba, who is currently attached to the US-based SPIRE academy, will be hoping to make the final cut for the U-17 qualifiers which will take place in Kampala, Uganda later this month.
The winger revealed that his struggles with form and limited game time earlier in the season led him to question his future at the club.
"Every player feels down when they’re out of form. It was one of the toughest periods in my career—struggling to perform, not getting game time, and questioning everything," he revealed.
Michira has found motivation in the achievements of teammate Mathew Tegisi, whose Harambee Stars call-up for their 2025 African Nations Championships (CHAN) qualifier against South Sudan away in Juba has fueled his own aspirations.
"My priority is to maintain this form and help Shabana secure a top-five finish. On a personal level, I want to follow in the footsteps of Mathew Tegisi, who earned a national team call-up. That’s a dream I’m working toward," Michira shared.
With his sights set on maintaining his current form, Michira aims to continue his upward trajectory both for Shabana and for his broader ambitions.
