The Kenyan scored in either half to help his side seal points against struggling Swedish opponents.

Harambee Stars forward Henry Meja scored twice to help Norrby IF to a 4-1 win over Angelholm on Saturday.

Meja’s teammates had to fight from a goal down to eventually emerge winners away from home in the Swedish third tier.

Meanwhile, Angelholm broke the deadlock in the 24th minute, when Amilon Persson scored. Norrby equalized a minute after the half-hour mark when Marcus Victorio found the back of the net through a penalty kick.

In the 39th minute, Meja put his side in front before adding the second in the 53rd minute. Julius Johansson scored the fourth as Meja’s side claimed a healthy victory on Angelholm’s turf.

The former Tusker forward was substituted in the 74th minute when Oscar Gustafsson was brought in to replace him.

Maxx Olsson came on for Victorio; Alexander Warneryd replaced Teo Helge; Lendi Haziraj took Olsson’s place; and Melvin Korpas came on for Melvin Korpas in the other changes made by Meja’s coach, Hampus Gustafsson.

Nino Osmanagic and Vidah Svendsen were Meja’s teammates who were yellow-carded in the 14th and 86th minutes, respectively.

The victory leaves Norrby fifth with 13 points after matchday nine action. They will host Vanersborgs IF on March 29.
