The teenage Brazilian is poised to join Chelsea, picking out star man Cole Palmer for inspiration.
Chelsea's 17-year-old Brazilian sensation, Estevao Willian, has revealed inspiration from the Blues talisman Cole Palmer.
Estevao, who is poised to join Chelsea from Palmeiras , will officially be part of the club on July 1, 2025, when he turns 18.
The teenager has expressed his excitement about playing alongside Palmer.
"Cole Palmer is spectacular. He told me we’re going to do a lot of great things together for Chelsea," said Estevao via the Guardian per Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Brazilian wonderkid has also opened up about drawing inspiration from former Chelsea players and fellow country men Thiago Silva, Willian and Hazard.
“In the past, Thiago Silva as well as Willian or Hazard were models for me”, he added
Estavo revealed that he chose to join the Blues because of a promising future and the trust that the club out in him.
“I decided to join Chelsea because of their plan for the future. I was very pleased with that. It was the club that believed in me and trusted in my work. I hope I can pay that back."
