Former Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor has broken down the difference between legendary managers Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger.
Emmanuel Adebayor is one of Africa's greatest footballers, with a goalscoring record to rival some of the very best.
Recently, the Togolese legend sat down with Optussport to share his thoughts on the best manager he's ever played under.
With a career spanning over 15 years, Adebayor had the privilege of working with some of the world's top coaches, including Arsene Wenger, Roberto Mancini, and Jose Mourinho.

When asked about his favorite manager, Adebayor surprisingly chose Mourinho, despite their brief six-month stint together at Real Madrid.
"Best manager I've ever had? I would say Jose Mourinho even though it lasted only six months," Adebayor said.
Adebayor attributed his preference for Mourinho to the Portuguese coach's direct and honest approach.
"He made a big impression because of the way he treated players, it was beautiful. If he loved you he would let you know whatever you are doing well he will let you know... For me, that's the difference."

"Wenger, he will let you do anything you want to do, obviously he is a manager who will at some point tell you what is not good and to do it this way, but that is after a while, you can make the same mistake three times and Wenger would just look at you.
"Mourinho doesn't have time, he would tell you straight, you do it at 10:01 and 10:02 he's already telling you..
Adebayor concluded by praising Mourinho's honesty and straightforwardness.
"Jose gave me a big impression with the way he treated players if he loves you he will let you know and if he doesn't you will know as well, he is a very honest person and that's why he is the best manager I ever had."
