Odada made his long-awaited Scottish Premier League debut as a substitute for Dundee United against Dundee, as Jonah Ayunga helped St.Mirren claim huge win against Hibernian.

Two Harambee Stars players, Richard Odada and Jonah Ayunga, were in action as the Scottish Premiership kicked off in electrifying fashion. Odada made his debut for Dundee United, while Ayunga featured for St Mirren in their opening matches of the season.

Richard Odada made his debut for Dundee United just over a week after signing for the club, coming on as a substitute in the 86th minute during a thrilling encounter against city rivals Dundee FC.

Odada was on the pitch for only 11 minutes and had little time to influence the outcome of the match, which ended in a 2-2 draw.

The match was marked by a flurry of action, with Kristijan Trapanovski giving Dundee United the lead. However, Seb Palmer-Houlden equalized for Dundee FC by capitalizing on a loose ball in the box.

Miller Thomson restored Dundee United's lead by tapping in Will Ferry's cross, only for Luke McCowan to level the score from the penalty spot after Ross Graham brought down Simon Murray in the box. Despite the chaotic finish, neither side could find a winner, and the points were shared.

Odada will be hoping for more significant minutes in upcoming games to make a stronger impact on the league.

Jonah Ayunga started for St Mirren as they began their league campaign with a commanding 3-0 victory over Hibernian. Although Ayunga did not find the net, he played a crucial role by providing a strong presence upfront, creating opportunities for his teammates.

St Mirren's goals came from Oisin Smith and Roland Idowu, securing a convincing win and placing them at the top of the table after matchday one.

Ayunga's ability to create space and hold up play was instrumental in St Mirren's success, and he will look to build on this performance as the season progresses.

Both players will be eager to continue contributing to their respective teams as the Scottish Premiership season unfolds.
