Harambee Stars coach Engin Firat and his assistant provided motivational support to young football enthusiasts in Nairobi's Kibera.

Harambee Stars head coach Engin Firat along with his assistant Ken Odhiambo brought a wave of enthusiasm to the dusty fields of Kibera kwa DC Grounds in Nairobi on Monday.

In a heartwarming interaction, the coaching duo was seen mingling with the youth of the area, passing on not just footballing tips but also invaluable life lessons.

The national team's social media pages lit up with photographs of Firat and Odhiambo engaging with the children, sharing not just cones and footballs but also moments of genuine connection.

With Kenya gearing up for the preliminary squad announcement for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against formidable opponents Gabon and Seychelles, this engagement could not have come at a better time.

Kenya's journey towards the dream starts with a challenging face-off against Gabon at the Stade de Franceville on November 16.

Positioned in the competitive Group F, alongside nations like Seychelles, Burundi, Gambia, Gabon, and Ivory Coast, the Stars' campaign is a blend of high stakes and high hopes.

Following the opener, they will take on Seychelles on November 20 at the iconic Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Abidjan.
