The Harambee Starlets defender has decided to cross boundaries from Yanga Princesses to Simba Queens

Harambee Starlets defender Wincate Kaari has joined Simba Queens  after departing Yanga Princess in the Tanzanian Women’s Premier League.

Kaari, who recorded 13 assists and two goals for her former team, is now among the new additions to Simba Queens, joining players like Saiki Atinuke, Precious Christopher, Emiliana Isaya, and Amina Bilal.

Kaari's transfer means she will be teaming up with fellow Harambee Starlets Vivian Corazone, Jentrix Shikangwa, Ruth Ingosi, and Elizabeth Wambui.

After completing her stint with Yanga Princess, Kaari took to her social media platforms to express her gratitude for the time spent at the club.

“It’s hard to say goodbye to this amazing club, Yanga Princess, but it's time. My words cannot explain it all, but thank you for the beautiful memories we made throughout the two years I have been here,” Kaari wrote in a heartfelt farewell message.

Kaari acknowledged the challenges and triumphs she faced during her time at Yanga Princess, expressing her deep appreciation for the role her coaches played in her career growth.

“Although we had our ups and downs, we found our way together as a family. To all the coaches I have passed through, you have played a very big role in my career growth, and I will be forever grateful,” she said.

Kaari also thanked her fellow players for their support, especially during her low moments. “To my fellow players, thank you for always supporting me even when I was at my lowest. You guys always found a way to make me believe in myself. For that, I really thank you all,” she added.

As Kaari embarks on this new chapter with Simba Queens, she leaves Yanga Princess with fond memories and a sense of optimism for the future. She expressed her hope to cross paths with her former teammates again, whether on the football pitch or elsewhere.

“We may not be together for now, but I believe we will meet again, maybe on a football pitch or somewhere else in the world. I wish you all the best of luck in your careers and also outside football,” Kaari wrote.

Kaari also extended her gratitude to the staff members at Yanga Princess, acknowledging their significant impact on her career and personal growth.

“To the staff members, words can't explain it all. All I can say is God bless you and your family. You all have played a big part in my career and outside football. I have learned a lot from you. Thank you so much,” she concluded.
