Leopards overcame Kakamega Homeboyz 1-0 in the Kakamega Governor’s Cup exhibition match at Bukhungu Stadium on Monday.

FKFPL AFC Leopards’ Miheso optimistic of a major turnaround in the second leg of FKFPL campaign
AFC Leopards vice captain Clifton Miheso is drawing positives from their defeat in the Elijah Lidonde tournament which he feels will help them improve in the second leg
It was sweet revenge for Ingwe who had lost to Kakamega Homeboyz in the Elijah Lidonde Memorial Cup final a week ago.
Both teams used the match to give their youth teams a run out as the senior sides prepare for the second leg of the season.
Of interest to Leopards and their fans were strikers Koloti and Mark Shabaan who started the match amid reports that the club has decided to sign them in the mid-season transfer window.
The two were among the stars in the recently-concluded Malala Super Cup and Leopards seem to have decided to snap them up to help solve their problems upfront.
They should have been delighted with what they saw from Koloti as he easily shrugged of his marker to get on the end of a pass and slot home.
Leopards goalkeeper Samuel Kusindi also pulled off some good saves to keep his side in the game as they claimed the bragging rights.
