Manchester City's 1-0 win over Inter Milan in the Champions League final enabled Norwegian star Erling Haaland to equal a longstanding Cristiano Ronaldo record.
Erling Haaland has had a spectacular first season in England, breaking record after record as Man City bulldozed their way to historic treble.
Despite failing to score, the Norwegian goal machine finished the season with 52 goals in 53 games and equaled a historic record in the aftermath of City's UCL triumph.
Haaland equals Ronaldo's record
Cristiano Ronaldo and Haaland are the only two footballers in the history of English football that have managed to win both the Premier League and the Champions League, finished as the top scorers in both competitions as well as being named Footballer of the Year by the Football Writers Association (FWA) - all in the same season.
Along with a staggering 52 goals in all competitions, the 22-year-old added 9 assists to add a new creative layer to his game, with years of improvement still to come.
