Ochieng was included in the provisional squad for the side’s games against Gabon and Seychelles, but failed to make the final squad, but it is not deterring him from wanting to make the next step next time.
Gor Mahia vice captain Geoffrey 'Simiti' Ochieng believes that he will earn more Harambee Stars call-ups and senior caps in the near future despite missing a chance to make his debut in the last international break.
Ochieng was included in the provisional squad for Kenya's games against Gabon and Seychelles but failed to make the final squad, however, that is not deterring him from wanting to make the next step.
“I am grateful to be called up because there are many players and many teams and getting called up is not easy,” Ochieng’ said.

FKFPL Why Patrick Odhiambo remains vague on Kakamega Homeboyz's title chances
