KCB FC assistant coach Godfrey 'Solo' Oduor insists that they are still in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) title race despite being seven points adrift.
The Bankers are yet to claim a Premier League title but came close in 2021 when they lost the league to Tusker by just three points.

Oduor who doubles up as the Harambee Starlets head coach, however, insists that they are still very much in the title race.
“We still have seven matches to play for. Those are 21 points to play for. Those are a lot of points. Anything can happen.”
Speaking after their loss to Tusker at the Ruaraka Grounds courtesy of a potential goal-of-the-season contender by former player Michael Oduor, the coach insisted that what was done was done and the side should focus on the weekend encounter.

Tusker beat KCB 1-0 in a first of two back-to-back fixtures against the same opposition this week.
“A loss is a loss. Tusker have won 1-0,” he said. "That is the scoreline. We focus on the Mozzart Cup now against them on Saturday,” he added.
