FOOTBALL Ghost Mulee returns to coaching with Women's Premier League side

The former Harambee Stars coach has been confirmed as the replacement for Ibrahim Mohammed.

Football Kenya Federation Women's Premier League side Gaspo Women FC, have officially appointed former Harambee Stars tactician Jacob 'Ghost' Mulee as their new head coach.

The 55-year-old gaffer succeeds Ibrahim Mohammed, who parted ways with the Gatundu South-based club in February.

Mulee's last job at club level was with FKFPL side Kenya Police FC where he served as their technical director.

"With great honour and pride, we are privileged to announce Jacob Ghost Mulee as part of our great family. We requested him to join the team as the head coach to guide us through the remaining league fixtures.

"We settled on Mulee because he is one of the most experienced coaches we have around. We are also in the title race and I believe with him we can make history with the club by winning the title this season.The camp is so motivated and recharged for the course," said Gaspo chairman Edward Githua as per Nation.Africa.

The gaffer has vast coaching experience, having handled Harambee Stars at the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations held in Tunis, Tunisia.

Mulee has also managed several men's teams in the East Africa region and worked extensively in Tanzania and Rwanda. 

Mulee will debut at the helm of the team when they meet Zetech Sparks in a league match this weekend.

 Gaspo Women are currently placed second on the standings with 28 points from 13 matches played so far this season.
