HRA Youth Cup: Ghetto Tigers set to defend title
The third edition of the HRA Youth Cup kicked off on Saturday at Ilupeju Secondary School.
Ajala revealed that the club would own its stadium and other infrastructures in the foreseeable future.
"It has become the toast of the LCDA, the residents see themselves as part owners of Ghetto Tigers. Their performance has been really solid and impressive, formerly they used to be regional champions but now they have gone on to win titles in different parts of Lagos state.
"The major aim is to ensure we take them to the state level and by extension the national level.

Council chairman tells football players to be determined as Ghetto Tigers launch Jersey
Ajala admonished the players during the unveiling of Ghetto Tigers jerseys for the 2023 season at the council secretariat.
"We are working on enlisting Ghetto Tigers to the Nigeria professional football league and anything that will bring more positivity to the club is what the Team Manager, Azeez Mustapha is doing.
"We are looking at providing structures and the needed facilities and to encourage the players with a lot of incentives.
"Primarily, scouting for players is from the local government, our community. You will agree with me that, football has become a huge business, so we will not limit our scouting of players to the local government alone. So we will look elsewhere so as to make sure, we fortify our club with the right players that will give us the desired result.

Super Eagles skipper Ahmed Musa made a sensational return to the NPFL on a short stint at boyhood club Kano Pillars.
"We are playing in the Ikeja Divisional League and it's our debut season there, it's a new water for us and the players are trying to acclimatize on the new turf and we believe even with the launch of the new jerseys the players morale will go up and it will help us in the results we are going to get in the coming days.
"Both our boys and girls team play in the divisional league and like what the chairman (Rasaq Ajala) said, we might just decide to go to the NNL but basically it's in the plan because we can't play divisional league forever. The long term goal is making it to the top tier of Nigeria football.
"Ghetto Tigers became the rallying point of all football clubs in the community and parents now believe in the club. Ilupeju is an industrial estate and we have about seven to eight Indian players registered at the club, so for foreigners to actually believe in what you are doing, that means you are doing something right.
"The community have owned the club, Ghetto Tigers is now the love child of Odi-olowo Ojuwoye community. The residents even offer to pay the transport farea of some players when they meet, because they see the club as their own. So they have adopted us as the child of Odi-olowo Ojuwoye community.
