Gerard Pique, a former defender for Barcelona, has spoken up about the day Pep Guardiola reprimanded him for wearing short sleeves.
Guardiola and the former Barcelona defender worked together for four years at the Nou Camp, from 2008 to 2012. He received a reprimand and a punishment for wearing a short sleeve in chilly weather during his playing days under Guardiola.

Now the 36-year-old veteran has admitted he had a scolding and a fine from Guardiola, who is currently at Manchester City, for not dressing warmly enough in cold conditions in Spain.
Speaking in an interview, Pique said: “Once it was very cold in Barcelona, but I was wearing short sleeves. A photo of me in the snow and me in short sleeves appeared.

Pique was key to Barcelona’s success
Before Guardiola took over as manager, Pique made his way back to his hometown team from Barcelona in the summer of 2008. He quickly established himself as a major member of the defence.
Under Guardiola, the centre-back went on to win three LaLiga titles and two Champions League trophies. In 2012, Guardiola joined German powerhouse Bayern Munich where he spent three years before joining Manchester United in 2016.
