Experienced coach Charles Ayiekoh has made a comeback to the Busoga Province team ahead of the 2023 FUFA Drum season.
Ayiekoh, who recently parted ways with Simba Queens from Tanzania, returns to the team after three years out.
The coach was in charge of the team in the inaugural 2018 and 2019 seasons, where he reached the semi-final and quarterfinal, losing to West Nile and Bugisu, respectively.
He will work with his former assistant coach while at Maroons, Eric Ndifuna and BUL FC goalkeeping coach Kenneth Magada.
Ayiekoh replaces Hassan Zungu who was his assistant in the two seasons before assuming full role.
Renowned football administrator Faisal Muhammad will manage the team together with his deputy Geoffrey Massa.
Busoga will start their campaign from the preliminary stage, where they face Karamoja in the first-round playoffs.
The winner of the tie will join Bugisu and West Nile in Group C.
