The former Gunners defender believes the 21-year-old has the quality to effortlessly slot into the famed ‘Invincibles’

Former Arsenal defender Kolo Toure has termed Bukayo Saka a special talent who would walk into the club’s famed ‘Invincibles’ effortlessly.

Toure believes the youngster has the quality and character to change a game any time just like the 2003-04 title-winning side that went unbeaten the whole season.

“It's money time now,” Toure, a two-time Premier League winner with Arsenal in 2003-04 and Manchester City in 2011-12, told the UK’s Dailymail.

“This is when Michael Jordan makes his money because he's the one who will make the difference. They give him the ball when the pressure is on. This Arsenal team has Bukayo Saka. This boy has a special talent.

“Thierry Henry was special. He was always the guy who carried the team, who pushed us. In the dressing room at half-time he would come in and be kicking things, shouting. It was scary but you could see this was a guy who is willing to do everything to win.

“Saka, he has passion, he has desire, he has technique, he has everything. When a game is tight and I see one player willing to take the ball under pressure and make the difference, that is what we love. In the coming games, he has to show that age is nothing. It is about the talent.

“Starting with Manchester City (on Wednesday), a game which Arsenal cannot lose, lest they want to gift their rivals a clear run at the title.”

Toure admits he would rather be in the City camp right now: “They have the momentum. The Arsenal players, now, in their head, there is a lot of doubt there. Arsenal have slipped three times. They'll be thinking, "Oh my God, they're catching us." When you run and look behind, you slow down.”

Saka has been in great form for Arsenal this season, scoring 13 Premier League goals while providing 11 assists as the Gunners maintained top spot and he will play a pivotal role at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday.

Arsenal are at the summit with 75 points from 32 games with City five points behind but with two games in hand.
