Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen put on a playmaking clinic for Galatasaray in their thrilling draw against Eyupspor.

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen showcased his playmaking skills in a thrilling encounter between Galatasaray and Eyupspor, which ended in a dramatic 2-2 draw at Rams Park. 

Despite not finding the back of the net, Osimhen's creative contributions were pivotal but not enough as Galatasaray dropped crucial points in their title race on Sunday.

The match began with a surprise as Eyupspor took an early lead in the 13th minute. However, Galatasaray equalized just before halftime, setting the stage for a competitive second half. 

Osimhen, demonstrating his exceptional vision and passing ability, assisted Roland Sallai shortly after the break, putting Galatasaray ahead 2-1 just two minutes into the second half.

The Nigerian's performance was marked by his ability to create opportunities; he generated four chances, including two big ones, and made three key passes from just seven passes. 

Additionally, he came close to scoring himself, hitting the woodwork with one of his six attempts on goal.

Despite Galatasaray's momentum, Eyupspor fought back and managed to level the score at 2-2 with 19 minutes remaining. 

Both teams pushed for a winner in the closing stages, but neither could find the decisive goal, resulting in a share of the spoils.

This match showed Osimhen's role as a key playmaker for Galatasaray, with four assists to his name this season even as they faced disappointment in their pursuit of victory. 

The draw leaves Galatasaray with vital points lost in their quest for the league title, with rivals Fenerbahce now just six points behind with a game in hand.
