Gaddafi lost only one game at Kakindu Stadium, winning five, eight draws and losing only once against KCCA.

Gaddafi Football Club will make a return to the Gaddfi Barracks for the 2023/24 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season.

The Soldier Boys used the Gadafi Arena inside the Junior Command and Staff College in Jinja City for their debut season in 2021/22 but shifted to Kakindu last season.

At Kakindu, the team lost only one game under coach Wasswa Bbosa winning five, eight draws and losing only once against KCCA.

The club president Lt. Edrine Ochieng confirmed the developments, reasoning that they have worked on a few

“[We’re not] planning [to go back to Gaddafi]; it’s our home ground,” Ochieng replied to a message asking whether they were planning to return to the barracks.

“We came to Kakindu because we were fixing a few things; we are returning to our home,” he added without mentioning the specific adjustments at their ground.

Gaddafi will play in their third season in the top flight after finishing 11th with 31 points last season.
