FUFA Drum: Kampala, Bugisu in last chance salon as Busoga, Bunyoro in prayers

The group stages of the FUFA drum will be concluded this weekend with four matches as the teams fight for the remaining places.

In Group A, Teso Province has already secured their slot in the quarterfinal after collecting seven points in four games.

That leaves Acholi and Ankole who have four and three points respectively to tussle out at the Pece Stadium in Gulu.

The two close Group A campaign with the final match of the pool stages with Acholi needing at least a point from their fortress to progress.

However, they can push for the maximum points and hope to score at least two goals to advance as group winners.

Lang’o Province has, by far, been the most outstanding team this season dropping only one point to garner ten after four fixtures.

They have completed their group action and secured the top spot as they leave the remaining battle for Kigezi and Kampala.

The latter two face at in Kanungu as Kigezi hope to capitalise on home advantage to slice at least a draw.

Bugisu Province has a tough job at home to beat West Nile by more than three goals for a chance to overtake Busoga.

Bugisu has two points, while Busoga has five and a better goal advantage.
