The 24-year-old midfielder has moved to the "Citizens' for undisclosed fee
Former Vihiga Queens midfielder Joan Nabyrie has penned a deal with Belarus women top tier side FC Minsk.
The 24-year-old has signed a two-year deal with Minsk from Ugandan Women's Premier League side Kampala Queens.
Nabyrie had run out of contract with Vihiga Queens late last year before making a controversial switch to the Ugandan side on a short-term contract in January.
The midfielder, expected to play a vital role in the club's quest to win their eighth premier league title, was unveiled on Thursday, and Minsk coach Andriy Pyshnik has since revealed why he moved to sign her.
"I was purposefully looking for a player for the defensive midfielder position. I am pleased with Joan's quality of the game and her understanding of football.
"No wonder she is the main player of the Uganda national team. However, there are some points where we will shape her to become the best. After all, players have a different understanding of football. But the fact is that she knows how to play, and she proved it in the training process," the coach said as translated from Belarusian.
