Two-time National champion Jonah Turigye avoided Gumikiriza’s fate after winning the Matugga regional qualifiers at the Koma Gardens in Matugga.

Chandiga is arguably the country's best and most on-form pool player for the last three years.
He beat Timothy Kasujja and Godfrey Kaggwa who qualified as second and third, respectively.
The regional qualifiers will conclude this weekend at various venues.
