The football fraternity has once again been thrown into mourning after former Tusker and Sofapaka head coach Sam Timbe passed away on Saturday 19 August.
Timbe was well and is reported to have been in charge of Uganda Revenue Authority’s (URA) FC Friday training session but unexpectedly fell in on Saturday morning.

Omondi started between the sticks during Gor Mahia's FKF Charity Shield cup win over Kakamega Homeboyz last Saturday.
The 69 year old who was born in Manafa District, Uganda was a footballer who played for Coffee FC but was never capped by Uganda Cranes despite being part of the set up between 1978-1983.
He is the most successful CECAFA Kagame Cup coach having won the converted trophy with SC Villa (2005), Police (2006), Atraco (2009) and Young Africans (2011).
