Davis Agesa's dreams turned nightmare as Ivorian agent leaves him stranded in Malaysia.

In a tale of shattered dreams and broken promises, former Nairobi City Stars player Davis Agesa finds himself stranded in Malaysia following a failed transfer to a Malaysian football club.

The promising forward left his homeland in pursuit of a new chapter in his career but ended up in a predicament that has left him seeking help to return home.

Having bid farewell to Nairobi City Stars in 2021, Agesa embarked on a journey that was meant to lead him to new horizons.

However, instead of finding himself on the field of play, he now finds himself stuck in Kuala Lumpur, a city far from the familiar soccer pitches he once graced.

It was an Ivorian agent who promised him a path to Malaysia, but upon arrival, the agent's commitment seemingly vanished, leaving Agesa to navigate a foreign land on his own.

"Yes, it is true he is stranded. We have reached out to the Kenya Footballers Welfare Association, and I firmly believe that their assistance will soon be on its way to bring him back home," reassured Linet Shirinji, Agesa's mother, in an emotional plea for help.

The family's hope now rests on the shoulders of the association, as they seek a way to rescue Agesa from his challenging situation.

While the exact timeline of Agesa's journey remains undisclosed, reports suggest that his ordeal began as soon as he arrived in Malaysia.

Instead of being welcomed into the footballing fraternity, he found himself caught in a web of uncertainty and disappointment.

The Ivorian agent, who once promised him the world, had abandoned him in a foreign land, with no support and no direction.

Desperation led Agesa to the Kenyan embassy in Malaysia, seeking assistance to return to his homeland.

However, his plea was met with the unfortunate reality that he was not the first to face such a situation.

The embassy officials revealed that they had encountered numerous similar cases, a stark reminder of the challenges faced by aspiring footballers chasing their dreams abroad. Their assistance could only stretch as far as arranging transport to the airport, leaving Agesa in need of a lifeline to bridge the gap.

Agesa's journey through the world of football has seen him venture far and wide. A product of Kaimosi High School, his talent once caught the attention of clubs abroad.

He was linked with a potential move to Baridhara FC in Bangladesh, a dream that now feels distant.

He also had a stint with Revengers FC in Seychelles, a testament to his determination to carve a niche for himself in the sport.

Before his ill-fated move, Agesa's skills graced the fields of Nairobi City Stars, a club that has since gone defunct but holds memories of his contributions.
