Former Gor Mahia head coach Steven Polack has made a comeback to African football after being appointed as the head coach of South African outfit Marumo Gallants.
This move comes two years after his unexpected resignation from Gor Mahia in October 2020 while on holiday with his family in Finland.

A Gor Mahia fan has revealed the shocking thing the club needs in order to become unbeaten for the rest of the season.
Polack, a UEFA Pro-Licence holder English coach, brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously coached football teams in both Africa and Finland.
"The UEFA Pro-Licence holder English coach has extensive experience coaching football teams in Africa and Finland," the club stated in their announcement of Polack's appointment.
The Bahlabane Ba Ntwa also revealed that Polack would be assisted by Pitso Dladla, who joined the team in August as the Head Coach, and Fani Mthethwa, a former Assistant Coach at Baroka F.C., who will join Gallants as an additional Assistant Coach.
This restructuring of the technical team aims to strengthen Gallants as they continue their journey in the National First Division (NFD) Motsepe Foundation Championship League this season, with the departure of former Assistant Coach Rodney Moroka.
