Former Express midfielder John Byamukama has joined Kenyan Premier League giants Tusker FC on a two-year contract.
The brewers unveiled Byamukama on Friday as the club revealed five new acquisitions ahead of the season.
The midfielder, who has crossed over after a season at Gaddafi, has promised to follow in the path of Ugandan players who have excelled at the Nairobi-based club.
“This is my first time outside Uganda, and I am delighted to be in Tusker,” Byamukama said shortly after being unveiled to the media.
“[Tusker] is a well-known club there, of course, because of the success some players have had here. I want to continue in that line of heritage too and do well for this club,” he said.
Byamukama joins his fellow compatriot Deogratius Ojok, who has extended his contract with the club by another season.
The midfielder has previously played for Express FC, where he won the Uganda Premier League title in the 2020/21 season.
