Former AFC Leopards coach Patrick Aussems has emerged as a potential candidate for the vacant Kenya Police job.
Aussems is without a job following his dismissal from Tanzanian side Singida Black Stars this week after the team failed to win their last three games.
His immediate availability adds to the list of options for Police, who are without a coach following the dismissal of their entire technical bench, that was led by Salim Babu and Anthony 'Modo' Kimani.

KCB were held to a hard-fought FKF Premier League draw by Kenya Police in a closely contested match at Dandora Stadium.
Police handed the reins to Kenya Police Bullets coach Beldine Odemba on an interim basis but her two-game stint ended on Tuesday following their 1-1 draw with KCB.
There have been other names mentioned, such as former Harambee Stars tactician Francis Kimanzi, but a move for Aussems cannot be ruled out as Police showed last season when they brought in ex-Gor Mahia and Leopards tactician Zdravko Logarusic to replace Francis Baraza.
Aussems has the advantage of knowing the Kenyan league well after his over two-year spell with AFC Leopards before he quit at the end of the 2022-23 season.
