FKFWPL round up: Gaspo down Bungoma Queens to register first win of the season as Zetech Sparks spank Bunyore Starlets

Anna-Arusi inspired Zetech Sparks tear apart Bunyore Queens as Gaspo register first win of the season

Zetech Sparks showed Bunyore Starlets who is the boss with a rampant 4-0 victory in an FKFWPL match played at the Imani Stadium on Sunday.

’Anna Arusi opened the scoring in the 38th minute, before Rebecca Kwoba doubled the lead one minute after the halftime break.

Arusi secured her brace in the 73rd minute, before she  completed her hat-trick two minutes before stoppage time.

Meanwhile, Gaspo secured their first win of the season with a 1-0 victory against Bungoma Queens in an FKF Women Premier League match played on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the Stima grounds.

Emily Okute’s goal in the 47th minute proved to be the decisive moment for Gaspo.

At the Mumias Sports Complex, Kibera Soccer Ladies earned their first win of the season by defeating Wadadia 2-1. 

Wadadia took the lead in the 18th minute through Laura Atsabina, but Kibera Soccer Ladies equalized just before halftime with a goal from Mary Ambila in the 40th minute.

The winning goal was scored by Joyce Okuku in the 67th minute, securing victory for Kibera Soccer Ladies.
