The club is also keen to have a sizeable squad, unlike what they had last season.

Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) side Bidco United are reportedly set to part ways with 16 players.

The club is set to restructure its playing unit, with some expected to leave after the expiration of their contracts. Others who will join those leaving are the ones who were not regularly used in the previous campaign.

Head coach Anthony Akhulia had to manage FKF Premier League duties with a rather limited squad given that some were carrying long-term injuries.

In the current transfer window, they are expected to trim the squad to only 20. However, the number of new signings they intend to make is not yet clear, but the Thika-based side is expected to release some before exploring the market for fresh blood.

The mass exodus at the club is expected after experienced striker Stephen Waruru announced his retirement. The former Ulinzi Stars, Sofapaka, and KCB forward retired at the end of last season after a career that spanned close to two decades.

Bidco is not the only Premier League club that is expected to see massive changes in its playing unit. Bandari are expected to sign more as an equally big number will be released. Apart from shaking up their technical bench, the Dockers are expected to restructure the playing unit too.

Nzoia Sugar FC, after an impressive campaign, is set to lose key players as top clubs have interest in a majority of them. Bandari, Gor Mahia, and AFC Leopards are the clubs linked with massive interest in the Sugar Miller's players.

In fact, Ingwe have been linked with four stars that pushed the Sugar Millers and saw the club finish in a respectable fourth position.
