Ingwe will strive to reclaim the top FKF Premier League spot despite key player absences and strategic transfer acquisitions.

AFC Leopards are set to ignite the FKF Premier League action this Sunday as they host Posta Rangers at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

Determined to reclaim the top spot, Ingwe enter the match riding high on a strong start to the season having scored four unanswered goals in their opening three games.

In contrast, Posta Rangers despite a recent 1-1 draw against Bandari are eager to secure their first win and climb the league standings.

Ingwe’s impressive form has positioned them as pre-match favorites and a victory today would not only mark their second consecutive win but also dethrone Kariobangi Sharks, who currently lead the table following a thrilling 3-2 comeback against Tusker FC.

However, AFC Leopards will need to overcome several setbacks, including the absence of key players.

Influential winger Hassan Beja is out of the country for personal matters while defender Peter Manyang Mabok Maker is sidelined with an injury from the international break with South Sudan.

The history between these two sides adds an extra layer of intrigue to the encounter. Last season, their first meeting ended in a 1-1 draw, while AFC Leopards secured a narrow 1-0 victory in the second leg.

Elsewhere in Murang'a, Murang'a Seal FC will aim to extend their winning streak by hosting KCB FC at St. Sebastian Park.

Seal impressed in their opener against Ulinzi Stars with a solitary goal, whereas KCB, now under the leadership of new coach Patrick Odhiambo, managed a goalless draw against Kariobangi Sharks.

Both teams have been active in the transfer window, with Seal bringing in 11 new signings and KCB adding 10 players, including former Seal stalwarts Dennis Maruti and Bonphas Munyasa.

Last season, KCB narrowly defeated Seal 2-1 in Murang'a, with the return leg in Nairobi ending in a 0-0 stalemate. This Sunday's match is set to be a fiercely competitive showdown as both teams seek to capitalize on their new additions.

In Kakamega, Kakamega Homeboyz FC will face off against Mathare United at the Mumias Sports Complex.

Both teams are eager to bounce back from their opening-day defeats—Homeboyz suffered a 3-0 loss to newcomers Mara Sugar FC, while Mathare United were comprehensively beaten 4-0.

Meanwhile, in Mombasa, Bandari FC will take on Mara Sugar FC in what promises to be another exciting encounter. Bandari, looking to build on their previous performances, will aim to secure vital points against Mara Sugar side striving to establish themselves in the league.
