Gor Mahia, AFC Leopards and Kenya Police will be among FKF Premier League clubs in action this weekend in the FKF Cup.

The highly anticipated FKF Cup officially kicked off with the tournament draw held on February 17, 2025.

The competition promises thrilling action, featuring a diverse mix of FKF Premier League giants and fearless lower-tier challengers.

The tournament gets underway this weekend, with the Round of 64 matches scheduled for February 22–23, 2025.

FKF Premier League champions Gor Mahia will begin their campaign against National Division Two Eastern Zone side KSG Ogopa.

KSG Ogopa have been on an impressive run, currently topping their Zone E standings with 17 points from nine matches, having won five, drawn two, and lost two.

Their most recent outing ended in a goalless draw against Delmonte Gatuanyaga.

Gor Mahia will be looking to start strong, having missed out on final glory in the 2023/24 campaign.

Their most recent match was a goalless draw against fellow title challengers Tusker FC at Machakos Stadium on Sunday.

Reigning champions Kenya Police will kick off their title defense against National Division Two Central Zone side Superior Hotel.

Superior Hotel currently sits seventh in their Zone B rankings with 18 points from 13 matches, having won five, drawn three, and lost five.

Kenya Police are in fine form, topping the FKF Premier League standings, and will look to assert their dominance in the tournament.

AFC Leopards will begin their campaign against Nyanza Regional League side Dero FC, while Tusker FC takes on Gucha Youth. Shabana will battle Solian City, while KBC faces Chemogoch.

Other Round of 64 fixtures will see FKF Premier League side Kakamega Homeboyz taking on TBM Health, Bidco United facing off against Marafiki, and Ulinzi Stars traveling to take on Kirinyaga AllStars.

Following the Round of 64, the competition will progress to the Round of 32 in March, followed by the Round of 16 in April.

The quarterfinals and semifinals are set for May, with the grand finale scheduled for June.

With top-tier teams and ambitious underdogs all vying for the prestigious trophy, the 2025 FKF Cup promises another thrilling chapter in Kenyan football.
