SCHOOLS FOOTBALL Kitende has better players for East Africa that weren’t eligible for Nationals – coach
Kitende holds the record for most titles at the regional tournament, with 13 trophies to their name since 2004.
They had failed to qualify directly for the nationals and had to rely on a wild card which they never utilized to recover.
The national Champions, St. Mary’s Kitende, maintained their top spot as two-time champions Buddo SS paved the way for new blood in St. Henry’s Kitovu, Rotyal Giants and Amus College, who booked the other East African slots.
Buddo dropped from a top-four to sixth.
