ST. Noa Girls is the defending champion of the title after beating Kenya’s Wiyeta Girls 2-1 in the final in Tanzania last year.
Kawempe Muslim has been pooled alongside St. Noa Girls in Group A of the 2023 Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association football girls' championship.
This year’s edition will be held in Huye, Rwanda, from Wednesday 16th to 27th August.
Kawempe and the holders St. Noa will face GS Gatiso (Rwanda), Ziba SS (Tanzania) and two schools from Kenya.
ST. Noa won last year’s version in Arusha, Tanzania, after beating Kenya’s Wiyeta Girls 2-1 in the final.
Group B has Fountain Gate (Tanzania), Apaer Gasabo (Rwanda) and Sacred Heart SS, Gulu and Amus College from Uganda.
