Top 5 players to get for your Fantasy Premier League team for GW3

Defence

Manuel Akanji (£5.1m) – The Manchester City defender has been excellent at the heart of defence for the defending champions in his two appearances this season. He has earned 13 points so far, and at just 5.1m,  is a cheap source of points moving forward.

Manuel Akanji has been in form for Manchester City

Pervis Estupiñán (£5.2m) – Brighton’s ultra-attacking full-back is a must-have for any FPL manager. The Seagulls have scored 8 goals this season and Estupinan has been involved in 3 of those, scoring one and assisting two. His total points after two games stands at 18 and his price is just 5.2m, which is a steal.

Midfield

Solly March (£6.6m) – Brighton continue to soar and after back-to-back wins, several Seagulls’ players deserve a shout. However, left-footed wing wizard Solly March should be a no-brainer. The Brighton winger has amassed 24 points in his two games so far and is an absolute bargain at just 6.6m.

Phil Foden (£7.5m) – A central role for Man City helped Phil Foden to his first attacking returns of the campaign, with the midfielder assisting Julio Alvarez’s strike in the 1-0 win over Newcastle United.

Foden has produced a team-high nine key passes in 2023/24 so far and is clearly thriving as their chief creator in the absence of Kevin De Bruyne

Attack

Yoane Wissa (£6.1m) – The Brentford striker has the form and fixtures to be an excellent addition to your FPL team. Wissa’s goal, assist and 11 points against Fulham caught many managers’ attention.

Brentford’s frontman is the most-bought forward in the Gameweek, earning over 172,000 new owners.
