The Manchester City midfielder disclosed that Ronaldo, who has won football’s most coveted individual award five times, has never been content with his achievements, stressing that he deserves more.

What Bernardo Silva said about Ronaldo’s obession
Silva was quoted by Sportskeeda:
"I was in the selection two or three times when he won it. We congratulate him, we talk. When he doesn't win, we're not happy too because he's a player who really likes to be on top. He talks to people: 'I thought I deserved a little more', really competitive player, who is into this type of thing. He likes to be on top a lot ."
Ronaldo and his fiercest rival Lionel Messi share 12 Ballon d’Or awards among them with the Argentine winning seven out of them.
Messi is also favourite to win the 2022 edition after helping Argentina win the World Cup in Qatar last December.
Ronaldo once claimed he would retire if Messi wins the 2019 Ballon d’Or
According to French news media outlet L’Equippe,Ronaldo once claimed that he would retire from football if he did not win the 2019 edition of the award.
CR7 had left Real Madrid to play in the Serie A with Juventus and due to his goalscoring form, the Portuguese captain said he deserved the award.
"It's easy to stay in your comfort zone when you are successful. I took a risk coming to Turin. I changed club, championship, football culture, I took a risk, and it was that risk that, I'm sure, made me not win the Ballon d'Or in 2018. If Messi wins the Ballon d'Or this year, I will retire from football."
