Odhiambo revealed that she was “warned to stop” releasing the club expenditures after each game, raising concerns about the general integrity of the club.
Gor Mahia treasurer Dolfine Odhiambo has revealed some ‘pertinent issues concerning the management’ of the club following the revocation of their 2023/2024 Champions League ticket.
It has been well documented that the club were stripped of their license for the season for failing to pay their former foreign players what they owed them, which prompted them into reporting the matter to the African governing body CAF, who in turn, acted accordingly.

Speaking in a revealing statement she released in her position as club treasurer and seen by Pulse Sports Kenya, Odhiambo has revealed shocking information about how she has been treated by her fellow executive council members despite being duly elected to the position by fans.
“Sometime back in 2021, I raised some concerns with effect to sign some foreigners whose quality and transfer fees were questionable and which was never a priority at that moment,” the statement read.
“My other colleagues in the executive committee of the club sidelined me, never to invite me to any other meeting to date, and made changes to the club’s account with the ultimate goal of locking me out in performing my mandate as the duly elected treasurer of the club.
It is shameful to learn that after all those forceful signings they did that were laced with individual interests among some of the EC, the said players were never paid what they signed for in their contracts, forcing them to move to CAF and FIFA to demand payments from the club.”
Odhiambo has added that her being sidelined “rendered her an absentee on part of the club’s financial management”, leaving her in a position where she could not tell how much the club received since her de facto ex-communication.

She also revealed that she was “warned to stop” releasing the club expenditures after each game, raising concerns about the general integrity of the club.
“Why should we sign some foreign-based players whose qualities are questionable, pay them huge amounts of money as sign-on fees with a promise of huge salaries only to come and warm the bench here

Odhiambo has challenged fellow fans and members to come together and prevent the club from going down on its knees.
