The Manchester United players are not prepared for what they will face in the second leg of their Europa League match, according to Ivan Rakitic.
Sevilla midfielder Ivan Rakitic has sent a stern warning to Manchester United players ahead of their Europa League clash, saying the Red Devils are unaware of what they have in store for them.
Manchester will line up against Sevilla at the Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium in the second-leg of their Europa League clash.
Both sides played a 2-2 draw in the first-leg, with the Erik Ten Hag's side letting a two-goal lead slip at Old Trafford
What Rakitic said
Rakitic was speaking in the Pre-game conference ahead of the match, where he warned their opponents of the treacherous atmosphere to expect at Sevilla's home ground.
The Croatian midfielder mentioned that David de Gea and Casemiro, who were both formerly in LaLiga for Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, will be well aware of the atmosphere at the Pizjuan, saying they will be aware of the difficulty the Red Devils are set to face.
"These people don’t know what awaits them on Thursday. It is a team with a lot of experience and many millions, but United does not know what Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan is like packed. I know from when I was at Barcelona that players from other teams sing the Sevilla anthem on the pitch," he said, per 90 Min.
